"The Million Dollar Hotel" is an
interesting film indeed. With the story
by U2's frontman Bono, Million Dollar Hotel takes
on the shape of a love story intwined with a
Detective mystery (played by Mel Gibson) taking
place at the Million Dollar Hotel. As
a U2 fan and independent films fan I can say I
like this film. Sure it's slow, sure
the story and script isn't professional writing. But
behind all this is a very interesting plot of love
by great performances from Jeremy Davies and (what
I thought was an Oscar-caliber performance) Milla
Jovovich. I will say, I think Bono
should stick to music (which is what he does
best). However, if you are a fan of
very DIFFERENT films, and I promise this film is
different, you may actually like this film. It
will not hurt to see it once.
