| This
is actually a Chinese story based on a string of Hong Kong
cinema by the same name. The creator, Tsui Hark, brought
it to the Japanese animation company Triangle Staff, and
viola: a great anime. |
| Let's
face it, love is never easy. It's just a question of
degrees of difficulty. Ning is a young man who was
recently dumped humiliatingly by the love of his life.
He is hardly what you would call a catch, but that doesn't
keep his young heart from longing after beautiful women.
Traveling the world as a debt collector along with his dog,
Solid Gold, he gets caught up in a battle between ghostbusters
and the spirit world. Amongst the chaos a beautiful
female ghost named Siu Seen saves him from carnivorous spirits
and he saves her from the ghost hunters. Ning is in love, but
can he trust his ghostly girlfriend? If so, how can they
possibly carry on a life together? Can they protect each
other from the dangers that constantly threaten their
love? Believe me, it is worth the price of a rental to
find out. |
