journalist, Andy Sachs (Anne Hathaway) who settles
for a first job as second assistant to a boss from
hell, Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep), editor of a
top New York fashion magazine. According to her
first assistant Emily (Emily Blunt), thousands would

fashion and her dream is to write for a newspaper or

and experience, but can she hold out for a year of
sarcastic remarks and unrealistic demands? In tears
and on the verge of quitting she seeks out her
colleague Nigel (Stanley Tucci), who helps her fit
in. She decides to meet the challenge, but will she
sell her soul to succeed in the fashion world?

corporate world akin to taping the boss's picture to
a dartboard. It may not be a classic that will
change lives for generations, but it does treat a
