Ghost
Dog: the Way of the Samurai

(re-visited August 2006)
Solid
I love those
old Samurai movies, and there are a lot
of Samurai
books, both fiction and non-fiction, on my
shelves. One of my all time
favorite films is Ronan with De Niro,
Jean Reno and Sean Bean, the Samurai theme
makes the movie even more interesting.
Ghost Dog:
The Way of the Samurai was a reach for
me. I enjoyed it; even saw it
twice. I can see a younger guy
really getting into. As a mater of
fact, the young bucks around
HugeReviews.com, all give it higher
ratings than I do. But they havent'
stepped up to write a review yet.
I must tell you this I am rewriting this
review after 4-years. They rave
about it, but...you know.
Their commentary
on the US Mafia in the late 1990s was thought provoking, and
some of those scenes were
belly-laughers. Next time your at the
video store and don't know what to get, pick
this one up. If you're over 40, be
warned, it's a little out there, but
worth the time - much better than
watching something on TV.
And, hey, let me
know what you think of the film. Just
push the link below and type in your
review.

This movie is the way I am for my name that was given to me on the
streets is samurai and that is the
way I live my life! I do what is right when some one asks me to do
something and I don't stop untill
the job is done and I am looking for work.
When I saw the movie I saw that the way I live my life is of a true
samurai but hier latly I have not
lived that way for I have been cought in some realy bad stough. If
you could seend me the books
that you found all info on the samurai's. I would be greatly
thankful too you all. |
