| What?
Hamtaro? Has Mark lost it? Nope.
Surprisingly enough this cute and surprisingly
entertaining anime has won a place of recognition on
MarkAnime.com. It is, after all, anime and we
don't discriminate. Now I have to say that this is
definitely created for children, however the
lighthearted, sugary-sweet, yet somehow harrowing
adventures of Hamtaro and his friends are satisfying to
any age. The show is very well done and
accomplishes not only reaching it's core audience, but
also managing to ensnare high school kids, college
students, and adults alike. |

Hamtaro and his owner Laura have just
moved into a new town. As Laura finds her place in
this new setting, so too does her hamster Hamtaro.
Hamtaro finds a hamster club full of all kinds of crazy
hamsters that he becomes friends with. Everyday
they escape their cages to meet up and have
adventures. All of this goes on unbeknownst by
their owners even though half the time the
"Ham-Hams" are right under their noses.
The Ham-Hams are always meeting new hamsters and
creatures, going through growing pains, helping their
owners go through their growing pains, or narrowly
evading danger and rescuing each other.

| The
animation is fairly typical for a children's
anime. The characters designs are cute but not
particularly impressive. The stories are usually
entertaining, but can often be very clichéd. I
wouldn't suggest that anyone preteen or over go out of
their way to see it, but if your home sick from school
and it comes on... well, you might want to give it a
shot. It is cute and entertaining.
I highly suggest this show for any children under ten
or so.

| I
ABSULUTELY LOVE THIS SHOW! Hamtaro is so cute with his
smiles and friends, and I'll admit, I used to hate it
and I tougght it was weird. But one day some kids were
picking on the show and I stood up for it. I watched it
and feel in love with it. Bijou is my favorite. ^ ^
