Dick Tracy is the first motion picture ever made using digital sound.
At the poker game in the beginning, one of the crooks announces that
he has two pair, aces and eights. Any poker player will tell you
that's called a "dead man's hand." The crooks are all
murdered a few moments later.
This film sparked a love affair between Madonna and Warren
Beatty. Madonna would be the last woman Beatty dated before
settling down with Annette Benning. While dating Madonna, Beatty
made an appearance in her film/documentary Truth or Dare.
