Awards:
Reservoir Dogs predates any of the Indy film awards that it would have
definitely won, but it did win several film festival awards all over the
world, and Steve Buscemi won an Independent Spirit Award for Best
Supporting Male.
Rumor has it that Harvey Keitel wasn't happy when Martin Scorsese,
who cast Keitel in his first film and several afterwards, made
Goodfellas without giving Keitel a role (although he found one for
Keitel's wife). As a result, Keitel searched for his own Scorsese
and found Quentin Tarantino. Reservoir Dogs was the result.
