| As
far as anime series go, Outlaw Star is one of the most
fun. It is a true tale of high adventure in space, but
it is unlike your average anime space story. It stars a
rag-tag team of pirates, warriors, and innocents who ban
together in their high performance spacecraft to seek their
fortunes in the stars. It isn't long however, before
they find themselves on a quest of greater significance. |
| The
show itself is imaginative and fun. To reflect this, the
artwork consists of bold colors against the blackness of space
creating a starkly colorful vision. This gives you a
surreal feeling of vibrancy and boldness that compliments the
story nicely.
The characters are distinct and nicely developed through
the series. They are not old friends or teammates, they
are merely comrades who share a thirst for excitement.
This creates a great environment for discord, comedy, romance,
and all the other elements that keep a story interesting.

| Overall,
it is just a fun and well made anime that shouldn't
disappoint. I highly recommend it if your looking for a
fun, character focused, adventure that isn't too heavy. |
