HUGE
The Powerpuff Girls are always the Powerpuff Girls and always
will be the Powerpuff Girls. Nothing can change them. Well... they
were originally known as the... Whoopass Girls by Craig McCracken.
It is a Great Movie and the series including the shorts are the best
in my whole life until the death of my life. |
| Why can't the Powerpuff Girls stay forever? My kids love them
and I too, love them very much. I sacrificed my job time to catch
the Powerpuff Girls and I even made excuse for my children to be
late for their Extra Tuition classes. I have a thinking of a certain
deal. I bet it should be said out rather than I keep it in my heart
or I'll go insane. How about this? The Powerpuff Girls will stay
on air forever but Cartoon Network can do anything they want to the
other shows on Cartoon Network because the Powerpuff Girls comparing
against the other Action, Comedy, etc. are the best ever in my whole
family's life especially me. Craig McCracken's Foster's Home for
Imaginary Friends is my Second Favorite show and I don't mind it
getting off the air as long as the Powerpuff Girls stay. So how
about it? |

Powerpuff Girls

| Anyways, the Powerpuff Girls consisted of Blossom,
the Commander and Leader, Bubbles, the Joy and the Laughter and
Buttercup, the Toughest Fighter. Their names have double letters in
their names. Example: BloSSom, BuBBles, BuTTercup. Their allies and
their fourth sister too. Example: BuLLet, BuNNy. Even the Utonium
has such one except he is not a Powerpuff himself or even a
woman/girl: ProfeSSor. Ms. Keane is really good in taking care of
her students when it comes to studying time and even during recess.
The Mayor is a little dumb at times but he is after all, old, no
offence. Ms. Keane is the "Brains" of the Mayor but we can't see her
face as a joke. Also, we always hear the Narrator narrates
throughout the whole series and movie simply being known as... The
Narrator. He can't be seen but he can speak with the characters and
audiences as if he is breaking the fourth wall. Now for the
villains, Mojo Jojo is formerly Professor Utonium's Lab Assistant.
The accident caused Mojo to have a Big Brain and that made him Evil.
He is the very first villain that the Powerpuff Girls ever fought
with the exception of his Monkey Soldiers as they are just... Monkey
Soldiers and not true villains.
The Gangreen Gang consisted of Ace, Lil Arturo, Grubber, Snake
and Big Billy. Ace is the Leader, Lil Arturo is the fast speaking
and midget/short one, Snake issssss the hissing whenever he
sayssssss anything that involves the Letter "S" and alwaysssssss
getssssss hit by Ace whenever he sayssssss something ssssstupid, Big
Billy is the largest, strongest and not really that bad as we learn
that the way he speaks and acts makes him not really a bad guy.
Fuzzy Lumpkins is the very first villain that showed up before
the Powerpuff Girls were even born/created yet. He doesn't do
anything bad/evil unless he is physically provoked like the noises
from Townsville and anyone or anything that enters his property,
he'll go mad and bad which should mean he's not sad. Kinds of remind
me of Stone Cold Steve Austin given a condition by Linda McMahon.
Princess Morbucks is a spoilt rich kid as her father, Daddy
Morbucks in the richest man in the world. Heh, tell that to Bruce
Wayne or Bill Gates in a Crossover. She never wants to believe that
Money/$$$$$ cannot buy her Power and Love and her father never talks
and we can never see his true face just like Ms. Bellum although she
was changed into a Dog once.
The Amoeba Boys consisting of Bossman, Skinny and Tiny are the
worst villains ever to commit crime. And because of that, they were
mostly being ignored by the Powerpuff Girls.
Al Lusion/Abracadaver is one heck of an undead zombie from the
dead from his Iron Maiden grave. He sees Blossom as the threat that
caused the people to laugh at him and lost his life. He lost his
life again when Blossom did her own Magic Tricks.
The Boogieman is nothing but a Dark Minion that likes to...
Boogie all night long. He along with the rest of his Minions are
afraid of the Sun and they hate the Light no matter which kind even
if it is a small one.
There are more to say but I have to go and say: Once again, the
Day is saved! Thanks to the Powerpuff Girls! For hearing from me,
their Number One/One of the Greatest Powerpuff Fan, Rex Cena! |

Powerpuff Girls

Pathetic
I, as a fan of the television series, would have
never expected to write a negative review for a “Powerpuff Girls”
film, but I could find no redeeming value in this picture.
First of all, they chose to make the film about the
origin of the girls. Bad
idea. The origin of the
Powerpuffs is neither complex nor meaningful and does not require any
more time than the 35 seconds it is given at the beginning of every
episode of the television series. The
result of that decision in a slow moving, boring film that didn’t even
seem to entertain the kids that much.
They took a comedy laced with action and made it an
action film laced with small bits of comedy.
Who needs to see a mindless action film starring three cute,
little, animated cupie dolls? The
show works because it is spoofy, does not take itself too seriously, and
pokes fun at society and psychology with a Simpsonesque wit. Unfortunately, this film focused too heavily on explaining
itself and took itself WAY too seriously.
I laugh at least a couple times an episode with the TV series,
but I only laughed once at this entire film.
That’s just sad.
I could go on all day, but, to wrap this
review up, I must advise against seeing this film.
It is slow, boring, unfunny, dark, and frankly not very well
conceived. I am
disappointed in the filmmakers because their method behind making this
film appears to be only financial.
I hope they do not ruin an otherwise great franchise.
My suggestion is to rent or buy the TV episodes on video or DVD.
Any given episode of the TV series is better than this film.
The saddest part is that the 5-minute Dexter’s
Lab cartoon that preceded the film was more amusing than the whole
entire picture (and that wasn’t even that great!).
