I seriously thought
this movie was the best vampire movie i have
ever seen.
Stuart Townsend did a amazing job being
Lestat in this film, in fact i think much
better than tom cruise.
Aaliyah did a wonderful performance she
jumped into the character's skin , and don't
forget the soundtrack was super it is
my favorite CD.
I think it was very different from the book
but they gave it a modern version for youth.
STUART TOWNSEND IS SOOOOO HOT!!!!!

This movie is a good a one!
Ann Rice is a very good story teller, though
the it is a good story line there is no
really soul to it, to me a story should have
a soul. This movie should be called A
vampire Lestat, Not Queen of the damned. The
true story is about Queen Akasha, the movie
was about Lestat becoming a rock star! |
I think Lestat
would be happy with the movie I don't think
Akasha would be nor would Louis.
In the book there was more of Louis, in the
MOVIE there was NO Louis!
I have read Interview with a Vampire, and
have watched the movie, when I saw Queen of
the Damned, I didn't think it was as good,
it didn't seam to me that it was a Ann Rice,
though it was.
It was a good movie, with really good
music in it, Lestat should have Blond hair
and blue eyes, though Stuart Townsend did a
very good job as Lestat, oh and there should
have been more of the dieted scene's! |
|
| I
leave you with a last thought: IT IS ONE
HECK OF A ROCKING VAMPIRE MOVIE!

SUPER |
| Loved the
movie. Loved the star. So sexy and sensual.
She could bite me anytime!
Was very sad to hear about her demise in
a plane crash.
What a waste of beauty and talent. I
bought the movie on VHS.
Can watch it over and over again. Think
it's SUPER. |

| I think it
would have been better if they followed the
book, almost like they did in the Interview
with the Vampire, and Aaliyah was almost
perfect for the role, but I truly think that
instead of just focusing on Lestat and not
the whole point of the title they should
have followed the book, because the book
really is great. |

SUPER
I thought Queen of the Damned, didn't give
Ann Rice's book much justice, the film
makers left a lot of things out, luckily I'm
not a real book buff that gets angry every
time something isn't perfect, I loved Akasha
in it, Aaliayh was beautiful and carried the
character with so much grace and strength,
the moves, the costume, the voice, the
script, Akasha's character really chose her! |
| No one else
could have fit that character more, although
Lestat was sexy I prefer tom cruise, I guess
because I'm used to him, and he does have a
creepier face, more so than Stuart Townsend,
although Townsend really embodied
"The brat prince" perfectly! some of the
effects were cheesy and dodgy, like the
flying! and the scene at the end (walking
slow whilst the crowd was speeded up) but
the bath scene with the roses, and Akashas
dancing scene really makes up for stupid
effects, they do the film much more justice,
they should have introduced all the
characters, so people will understand more
who the other vampires were that seemed to
linger around the main characters like a bad
smell! |

It didn't do Marheret, Pandora, Armand
(boy with red hair) and others much
credibility! the soundtrack was awesome! and
a lot of the photography was fantastic, the
bath tub, Lestat and Akasha on balcony
during sun rise, Lestat on stage (huge
presence) and who could forget Akasha
dancing! Beautifully wicked scene. over
all i really enjoyed the movie, some cheesy
parts put it to shame, but it gives me hope
that they might do another movie, continuing
the chronicles for those who don't read
books to see the genius Ann Rice at!
Her best on wide screen!
Both movies, "interview with a vampire"
and "queen of the damned" really capture the
artistry of Ann Rice's mind!
