Overview
PROJECT RIVAL is a student film project that was originally produced by 4 BU students, but has now developed to a project with
well over 40 people involved. These people are from colleges throughout Boston, including BU, BC, Northeastern, and the Berkley
School of Music. The film was written by Rocky Joe, a junior in BU's School of
Management and College of Communication. It was produced by Rocky Joe, David Zeines, Pablo Rojas, and Julia Tutko.
The project is not about making a film, but creating art. Each person involved in the project is here for the artistic experience,
not for fame or glory or financial gain. Everyone involved is in agreement that if the film happens to generate revenue, that revenue
will go to charity. We are here simply for the experience. We are here to prove that art can be professionally done by
amateurs. We are here to experience art and expression of art in it's purest form
- for no other purpose than to create a project of great quality.
The marketing goal of the project is to get it seen by as many people across the country as is possible. The hope is to share the
project, and spread it across the nation.
