Second Skin (Segunda Piel)

This Spanish language film features Jordi Molla as Alberto, a
closeted married gay man. His wife is played by Ariadna Gil and his
lover Diego by Javier Bardem of Before Night Falls. Alberto,
unable to committ to either his wife and son, or to his boyfriend,
cheats on his family, on his lover, and betrays himself. By the end of
the movie, the only honest communication is between the betrayed wife
and the lover.
The movie shows the tragedy of indecision. Alberto has a job that he
hates, an engineer because his parents wanted him to be an engineer. He
longs for male intimacy, but jealously guards his outward
heterosexuality. For this man appearance is everything, and he
soon is left with nothing.
