The Patriot

This motion picture is great entertainment,
but it's also a great reminder of the fact that one must always be
prepared. That sometimes the world just won't let us alone to live
our lives and that we're lucky if we get through our lives without
having to stand up for what we believe in and hold dear.
In The Patriot, as in so many great stories-April
Morning comes to mind because of the time period and subject matter,
but literature and history are full of them-it is only after some grievous
action that some of us are moved to stand up and protect the things we
hold dear, usually at a tremendous cost.
The Patriot is a wonderful, patriotic film,
which I just know I'll watch over and over again.
